Hi,
I'm really new to this, so I just had a few questions that maybe some of you more mature amatuer film makers could answer. Is it all possible to make a half-way decent movie on an 8mm sony handycam, without the use of non-linear editing. And do you necessarily need a script, or can you just make it up as you go along, as long as it has a consistent topic?
thanks,
jon

Howdy! In regards to your question,
>Is it all possible to make a half-way >decent movie on an 8mm sony handycam,
Yes
>without the use of non-linear editing
If you try hard enough.
>do you necessarily need a script
Not at all, I love improv.
Then again, this is all coming from a 14 year old who knows little about film-making

hi there. as far as the script goes you don't -HAVE- to have one but it is a good idea. if you don't want to do the script you can always just make an outline covering the subject and direction you want your film to take. hope it helps.
